UPDATE:The Ontario government has announced that they are integrating the provincial sales tax and the GST effective July 1, 2010.

The price for installed items will increase by about 6% effective July 1st. The price for soil deliveries (delivery portion only) will increase by 8%. If you buy plants and install them yourself then there will be no effect on the price you pay.

The provincial sales tax has been a costly burden for most businesses. With the elimination of this extra cost and improvements to the apprenticeship program we will be able to create two new horticultural apprenticeship positions and improve our ability to grow more plants locally.
